    Biography
    Dr. Robin Maier was raised in Pittsburgh, leaving to study physics at the University of Notre Dame, and then to study in the Medical Scholars Program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After completing her M.D. as well as her M.A, and A.B.D. in English and American Literature at UIUC, she moved back to Pittsburgh to complete her residency in Family Medicine at the UPMC Shadyside Family Medicine Residency Program.
    Dr. Maier served as a volunteer faculty member of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, teaching Medicine and Literature starting in 2006, while working clinically at the Mon Valley Community Health Center, a FQHC. In 2008, she joined the faculty at the University of Pittsburgh, initially working clinically at the Matilda Theiss Health Center. In 2010, she became full time faculty and took over the position of Director of Medical Student Education and Clerkship Director. She currently sees patients at the UPMC Family Medicine office in Squirrel Hill, and at Magee Hospital. She is also serving as the Faculty Champion of the new Longitudinal Alliance Pilot Project.
