Biography
Originally from a small town in upstate New York, Dr. Crawford-Faucher trained and practiced in the Washington, DC area before moving to Philadelphia where she practiced comprehensive family medicine including OB and was faculty at a family medicine residency program for 11 years. She moved to Pittsburgh and joined the department of family medicine in January 2013.

Dr. Crawford-Faucher is the medical director of inpatient primary care at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic of UPMC where she coordinates the medical care of this 300-bed facility and teaches and precepts psychiatry residents about the medical care of psychiatric patients.

She serves as a volunteer faculty member of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, teaching in medical interviewing, advanced physical exam, integrated case studies, and intro to being a physician courses. She is the faculty advisor for the Primary Care Progress @ Pitt chapter and is on the board of directors of the Family Medicine Education Consortium. She contributes regularly to American Family Physician.
